Encyclopedia. The word had sounded foreign to her when Arthur had picked up the book, smiled excitedly at her, and began to rant again. But it was a wonderful type of rant, of course: knowledgeable, hungry for information, dying to know more about the world. And so (Name) had listened to him as Arthur had said, "(Name), do you know what this is?"
She'd cocked her head and run a a thoughtful finger across her chin. "A book, obviously." At this, his eyes had lit up, and the emerald green that she was so used to had suddenly flared with intrigue and curiosity.
"But do you know what it is?" he'd said in a manner so abrupt and incomprehensible to her that she'd silenced herself for a moment to think further over the subject.
